Detroit loses $11 million in state revenue sharing because of late city audit
The city of Detroit continues to ignore deadlines to file state required audits for city funds and, as a result, state of Michigan withholds $11.3 million in revenue sharing funds. The Detroit Free Press says Detroit has a history of failing to meet audit deadlines.
